Summer 2023 Art Exhibitions: art walks, Open Studio, Art in the Park
I hope that you can make it to at least one of my shows this summer. I started the summer off with my first outdoor booth at the PhinneyWood Art Stroll.
I had my fingers crossed all weekend, hoping for a dry day. The rain held off till 3pm and then it poured! Seattle style, and then it stopped raining after 20 minutes. I bought a nice tent with walls and it did passed the rain test.
Made a small list of things to bring to the next outdoor event: Dog treats, people treats.
Next up is the Sunset Hill Walking Art Fair,(Ballard , Seattle, WA) Saturday, July 29th, 11-4. I'll be hosting my very own Open Studio during the event.
Get ready to explore a treasure trove of artistic delights as I showcase a wide selection of both new works and one-of-a-kind treasures from my print drawers. If you are a fan of the X-files, check out a post I have here .
As an artist and art enthusiast, I personally love exploring artist studios. It's a wonderful opportunity to witness the creative process, immerse myself in unique spaces, and admire a wide range of artwork beyond what's typically on display. The best part? Being able to directly support talented artists by purchasing their pieces and fostering meaningful connections within the community.
Digital and paper maps will be available closer to the event. I’ll have a link on my IG page.
See you soon!
Next up I’ll set up a booth at Art in the Park. Saturday August 5th from 10-5, the Ballard-P-Patch, 8527 25th ave NW, Seattle 98117. A full day of artist booths, live music in the garden and food. I’ve picked up a few treasures here over the years. I‘ll take my tent out for another spin and feature my small Seattle Dive Bar, coffee bar and Fish n chips themed images, both originals and reproductions.
Finally, I’ll be the featured artist at Venue Ballard from August 12th to September 6th. Opening reception Saturday August 12th during the second Saturday Ballard Art Walk. I’ll have new work to show! Come say hi, I’ll be there 5-9.
Better get to work!
