Seattle Dive Bar Art & Iconic Neighborhood Haunts: New Shows, Commissions & Event

February is off to an exciting start with a new commission in the works and an opportunity to showcase my paintings in a fresh setting. I’ll have a selection of pieces on display at Bhina Wolf Atelier, a design firm known for its curated, artful spaces.

Reception at the studio, 4411 50th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118

I’m always on the hunt for alternative ways for people to see my work—whether in galleries, cafes, or unexpected places that bring art into everyday life. This collaboration is a new step in that direction, and I’m looking forward to seeing how my paintings interact with Bhina Wolf’s design aesthetic. There will be a reception February 8, 11-4. I’ll be there from 12-2 and I’d love for you to stop by, see the work in person, and say hello!

Lately, I’ve been focused on painting Seattle’s dive bars and iconic neighborhood haunts, capturing the charm of these beloved spaces before they disappear. My latest project is a piece featuring Greenwood’s 74th Street Tavern, a longtime staple with its classic pub feel and deep neighborhood roots. I love bringing these spaces to life through watercolor and oil, preserving the character and stories they hold.

And there’s more—I’ll be back in Ballard at Urban Family Brewing, I Heart Indie Markets Pop-Up on March 8th! 1103 NW 52nd St, Seattle, 12-5. These events are always a blast, with lots of different vendors popping up in your favorite Ballard spots. I’m especially excited for this one because I’ll be unveiling some new work—stay tuned for that!

I also offer studio visits by appointment and take commissions on request. Many of my commissioned pieces capture places that hold special meaning—where someone had their first date, their regular neighborhood haunt, or even a surprise gift for a partner, parent, grown kids, or a wedding. If you have a place that means something to you, I’d love to bring it to life in a painting.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and sharing what’s next. More details soon!
